Love Me Some Lace is a mother/ daughter owned and operated bridal boutique in downtown Spartanburg, SC. They are the daughter and wife to James Carter, owner of Empire Ltd. Studio est. 2011 in Greer, SC. An upscale men’s clothing store featuring an array of services, suits, and tuxedos.
They went in with no expectation of finding “The Dress”, and simply wanted to get inspiration and an idea of what to expect. As soon as they stepped off the elevator they were whisked away into a world of posh and pamper. They ended up finding “The Dress” after trying on just 3 gowns. The whole appointment was less than an hour. They left astounded and impressed. That trip was a seed, one that would grow into an idea. You see, 5 years later, Taylor can honestly say she still loves her dress and is content with her decision in buying it. However, you have to wonder what would compel a bride to pull such an expensive trigger so quickly. The answer was obvious to them a few months after making the purchase. It wasn’t just the dress she had fallen in love with. It was the experience. It was how the stylists made her feel in the dress. This feeling touched both Taylor and Veronica. They yearned to create that feeling for other people; To bear witness to people’s happiest moments. That all being said a key part was not lost on them. Yes, they had received a beautiful experience, but was it also an experience they had paid for when they rang up the dress? They would never know the answer, but what they did know was that all women deserved the attention and care they had received despite not having the same financial means. That’s when Love Me Some Lace was born; a bridal boutique that provides brides with a pampered experience and gorgeous gowns at affordable prices. You shouldn’t have to pay to feel perfect and pretty. Especially when you already are and our job is to show our brides just that.
